Le Pressoir is a renovated barn conversion which has been beautifully restored and luxuriously equipped. It benefits from four air-conditioned bedrooms and two luxury Jacuzzi bathrooms and can accommodate up to nine people, plus a baby.The property is on three levels, upper ground floor, ground floor and lower ground floor (which is semi basement) There are only 3 steps between the upper ground floor and the ground floor and 7 steps between the ground floor and lower ground floor. The 'home cinema' sitting room.....The open plan social sitting room is partially covered with rugs for maximum comfort and offers large comfortable sofas. It has a 12ft high beamed ceiling with two large 'A frames' beams & original oak flooring. You will be delighted with the projector TV home cinema displayed on an impressive motorised screen with full sky packages including sports, movies and of course the children's channels! A Wii console and interactive family games, Hi-fi CD player, 24hr free Wi-Fi access & an iPod docking station. Relax in one of the sofas and enjoy the 'home cinema' experience excellent for watching either sports, 'the tweenies' or a good old fashion film. Or simply just relax with a glass of wine and a good book (a huge library of excellent English books are supplied including fiction, romance novels, biography & thrillers!). If you prefer, plug in your iPod and listen to your favourite artist whilst enjoying some easy reading laying in the sun. The excellent variety of magazines will keep you entertained with favourites like Homes & Gardens, Country living, 25 Beautiful Homes, Marie Claire plus Hello, Ok and Heat to name but a few. The older kids will love the Wii console with interactive family games, whilst the little ones will love the toys, games & dressing up clothes and be delighted to find so many new games and toys for them to enjoy - Happy children = Happy parents! Not to be missed by the whole family is the huge selection of family/children's Videos. Over 50 classic family Disney, Warner bros, Fox & Universal top titles plus many many more. Never a dull moment for children in this villa. You will also find a comprehensive folder in the villa listing restaurants, activities and local events, as well as plenty of ideas for entertaining the children. There is a huge write up of over 20 local restaurants that we recommend visiting with the kids and a great write up of recommended restaurants 'just for the grown ups!' The bespoke large kitchenThe large kitchen is the social hub of the barn and is very well equipped including a large 5 burner range cooker, (great for when cooking for large numbers), a huge pine farmhouse table with 8 chairs, Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, large '700' stainless steel fridge/freezer, 2 additional fridges (to keep the wine & beer nice and cool!) and ironing facilities. Those little extra's - You will also find kitchen essentials like washing up liquid, dish cloths, bin bags, kitchen foil, cling-film, kitchen towels, salt & pepper pots plus various herbs at your disposal. For the little ones we include - a high chair, travel cot, changing mat, pushchair, plus essentials like a microwave sterilizer, bottle warmer, food blender, children's crockery, cutlery and themed place mats. Air-conditioned bedrooms & Jacuzzi bathroomsLe Pressoir has four air-conditioned bedrooms - two master bedrooms, one twin bedroom (able to convert to large double bed when more than 4 adults are sharing) and one triple bedroom with a set of bunk beds and one single bed. Both master bedrooms have been furnished with restored antique double beds, making the rooms feel especially French! The décor is very elegant - and the rooms are spacious and very comfortable. You will find plenty of magazines in each bedroom should you just wish to stay in bed and read! The twin room has adult-size orthopedic quality single beds, along with a large antique wardrobe and a bookcase packed with children's toys and books (including lots of bed-time story books). For more than four adults sharing, the single beds can be made into one large double bed which is larger than a king-size. The large triple bedroom has bunk beds and an extra adult-size single bed, leaving more room for children to play - especially when the train track is assembled! In each of the sleeping areas (i.e. the ground floor and the lower ground floor), in-between the master and children's bedrooms is an adjoining private luxury bathrooms. (sometimes called 'Jack and Jill' bathrooms) This is ideal when families are sharing as each floor has their own bathroom and plenty of privacy. Each of the bathrooms has been equipped with luxurious home comforts, including a Jacuzzi bath, a separate shower cubicle and marble-top double hand basins and WC. Freshly pressed 100% luxury cotton bed linen is supplied for each guest submitted on the booking form and left in the villa for your arrival as well as hand/bath towels for all guests. In addition, you can hire large 100% cotton towels for the beach/pool (saves that bit of extra room in the case!) We also offer daily maid service (at a supplement) so your beds can be ready for you to slip into after a hard day at the beach or round the pool! Just for the kids........We believe that your kids are probably our most important clients, so we intend to keep them as happy as possible so you have some time to relax. The terrace and gardensLe Pressoir's private outdoor eating area is accessible from the sitting room via a few steps leading down to the terrace, garden & pool area. Here you enjoy the 4m x 5m gazebo, which creates a welcome shade during the summer months. You can all eat together on the terrace at the picnic style table and benches, or the adults can relax eating dinner whilst next to them, the kids can enjoy the 'kiddies size' table and chairs for their own memorable meal times. Partially laid to lawn, the garden is surrounded by mature plants, trees, shrubs and flowers - there is garden furniture and a bench under the shady mimosa tree. A chimney-style barbecue has been provided to ensure that you can cook outside in style, along with a herb garden stocked with plenty of fresh mint for your evening Pimms on the terrace at 5 O'clock! The shared swimming pool areaThe huge shared 12 x 6 metre swimming pool is surrounded by 150m2 of decking with lots of sun loungers. The pool has been specifically designed and built with children's enjoyment in mind and has both a SAFETY FENCE and an exclusive lockable child safety gate accessed from the garden of Le Pressoir only, for which the parents hold the key. The shallow end is only 1.05m deep (shallower than normal), so children can stand in the water easily. The pool has a large terrace & an additional raised decked area, which is shaded by a large walnut tree. Here there are café-style tables & chairs, a great place for the kids to play out of the sun. The shade on your private terrace area gives a welcome break from the midday sun, it is also the perfect spot to relax as lunch is served! You will also find garden furniture, a chimney style BBQ and a herb garden for you to pick mint from to enjoy your 'pimms' on the deck at 5pm! The large pool is shared between our 3 properties, Le Palmier, Le Pressoir and La Pergola so a great opportunity for the kids to meet and play with new friends. Wheel chair accessOur 4 bedroom barn conversion called La Pergola has been specifically designed to allow easy access for the elderly or for wheel chair users.
